Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines are the benchmark referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and they are the standard we hold this site to.

Conformance status

This website is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, meaning it meets the standard in the areas we have been able to test. Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project, and we continue to review and improve the site as it changes.

Measures we have taken

• Every text element on every page has been measured against its background, and all meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio that WCAG requires for body text (3:1 for large text).
• The site can be navigated entirely by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on every link, button, and form field.
• A "Skip to main content" link lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the navigation.
• Pages use proper heading structure and landmark regions so screen readers can navigate them predictably.
• All images include descriptive alternative text.
• Every form field has a visible, programmatically associated label, and form confirmations and errors are announced to screen readers.
• Motion and scroll animations are disabled automatically for visitors whose devices request reduced motion.
• The site is responsive and remains usable when text is enlarged or when viewed on a small screen.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. We are aware of the following, and we welcome reports of anything else you encounter:

• Some content is delivered through third-party services, such as web fonts. We do not control these services directly, though we select them with accessibility in mind.
• This site has been evaluated through code review, contrast measurement of every text element on every page, and third-party automated accessibility scanning (most recently October 3, 2026). Automated testing cannot catch everything: the site has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility firm, and it has not been tested by people using screen readers, switch devices, or other assistive technology in real use.
